Easy DIY Gift For Christmas!

Hey guys! Since Christmas is coming up in a few weeks, I decided to give you a quick diy gift to give to anyone. These gifts don't have to be just for Christmas, it can be for anytime of the year! It can be for family or friends! Let's get started.

Paint-Dipped Kitchen Utensils
This project is great for anyone who loves to cook. It adds a little color that will cozy up your kitchen!

You will Need:

  • Wooden or Bamboo Utensils
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Clear Gloss
The colors are really up to you. You can do a different colors for each utensil and if you want you can also paint drawing on the utensils too!

Step 1: The first thing you want to do is to put painter’s tape on the utensils to mark a line.  Make sure the paint or the gloss won't go to where food will touch the kitchen utensils. For example put the painter's tape about 1 to 2 inches above spoon level.

Step 2: Start Painting! If you want to to do multiple colors, paint your first color. Then, paint a line across the first color and paint the next color where you want it. Keep on doing this until you are you are all done.

Step 3: At this point you can take your painters tape off and you will see that your paint is perfectly in a straight line. To avoid getting the gloss on the part of the utensil that will touch the food, put foil around the base of the utensil.

Step 4: Dry overnight. Put the utensil in a cup or anything upright and put the base facing down so the paint will not get touched.
